Hypocrisy is indeed an important foreign policy. Of course, every president should use it if they want to avoid any more world wars. The main aim of using hypocrisy was to establish some sort of relation with even the most arbitrary nation so that unnecessary wars could be avoided and most advantage can be taken in terms of economy.
